Green Calico Quilt


Our cat Vari had a grand time when I took pics of this quilt yesterday. All of the fabrics on the front and back were pieces I set aside from my late mother-in-law's sewing supplies. The quilt was a gift for our niece this morning (the fabrics were her grandma's). I machine-pieced the top and hand-tied the three layers together.

  1. What a thoughtful gift. I love how the fabric once belonged to your niece's grandmother. The quilt looks great, and if you niece appreciates it as much as your cat, it was well worth the effort!

    Lovely cat too - looks a lot like our Tiffany who has the gentlest of souls.
